Additional Info about Hyper-T |
|
|---|
| Version | Date | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 6.2 | Dec 2004 | Added the ability to dynamically specify which frame to load using Javascript. Updated the remaining Shopping pages to fully HTML-compliant. Removed the Web Info page and spread the contents between the Cool Stuff page and the new Web Design page. |
| 6.1 | Apr 2004 | I'm maintaining these pages on my new Mac, using GNU Emacs. :-) I love BBEdit - I'd been using it to maintain these pages since April, 1997, but I can't afford a new copy ($180). Emacs is free, and it's awesome. Also, added a new page to track all of my favorite stuff at New Music Canada. |
| 6.0 | Aug 2003 | It's been a whole year since any changes? Wow! Actually, little things get changed all the time. However, this revision marks the end of my 110.net pages, and the start of the Verizon pages. As always, use http://hypert.webhop.net and you'll be bounced to the latest & greatest pages. |
| 6.0 | Aug 2002 | This is the first "major" update in quite some time! What changed? I removed a TON of dead links, thanks to a new script (based on Frank Debot's 404.pl). Also, additional checking (and a sitemap!) courtesy of WebTester. But that's not all! These pages have moved again, but HomeLinux has tons of storage and is easy to update (courtesy of rsync), so this should be the main site for a while. The backup site is now at 110.net. However, you can also just use http://hypert.webhop.net, which will always point to the most up-to-date pages (courtesy of DynDNS). |
| 5.6 | Jul 2002 | Minor updates (again). Main pages can now be found at 110.net. Backup copy is at HomeLinux |
| 5.5 | Jun 2002 | Minor updates. These pages can now be found at:
|
| 5.4 | Feb 2002 | A new classical music page forced the first front-page change in a long time. Also, added a children's section to the shopping pages. Also, the only officially updated version of these pages will be at 110.net. |
| 5.3 | Nov 2001 | Lots of things of the past few months. One thing of note is the popup Classical Music Search available on the Music Shopping page. |
| 5.2 | Mar 2001 | Renamed the Multimedia page; moved the information from the former Games page and from the former Software Archives page to the operating systems pages; created a new Emulators page from some of the info on the former Games page; removed the graphical homepage and the "About Us" page. |
| 5.1 | Dec 2000 | Because of reliability problems at Homepage.com,
I'm now keeping copies of these pages at all these places:
|
| 5.0 | Nov 2000 | Finally started on the Windows pages. |
| 4.9 | Aug 2000 | Moved the shopping pages to a set of framed pages, located in their own subdirectory. |
| 4.8 | Jun 2000 | Some substantial updates to the X-Men History. Also, added 3 original stories to the fiction page. |
| 4.7 | Apr 2000 | Well, those counters sucked. Now we're using counters from Hitometer Also, using VSE's Link Tester 2.0, all links on pages starting with "A" though "I" have been tested! |
| 4.6 | Mar 2000 | Lots of little stuff updated, but the most significant addition is the use of counters from TheCounter.com. |
| 4.5 | Nov 1999 | Major update. Significantly expanded the shopping page, cleaned up the comics and the cool pages,
and finally "finished" all of the Macintosh pages. We're up to 53 page with over 280 pictures, and 1590 links! |
| 4.2 | Aug 1999 | Many more small updates. Also, put yet another copy of these pages on the Internet (at Homepage.com), and this is now [was] our main website. |
| 4.1 | May 1999 | Many small updates. Also, put another copy of these pages on the Internet (110.net), but it won't get updated as regularly as our main pages. |
| 4.0 | Mar 1999 | Finally converted the ever expanding Macintosh page to a set of frames. Also, reorganized this page so that this Rev History appears at the top of the page, in reverse order. |
| 3.9 | Feb 1999 | Lots of little updates, plus the addition of the new Movies to Rent and Recommended Movies pages. As of this release, we now have 44 web pages, with over 246 graphics and 1500 links! |
| 3.8 | Nov 1998 | Many, many minor improvements. One thing of significance is the removal of the "hot" links from the top of the home page. Also, updated the CD and Book Inventories and Wish Lists, using Excel98. |
| 3.7 | May 1998 | Started maintaining these pages based out of our new home. |
| 3.6 | Jan 1998 | Overhauled the [former] Games page; spruced up the Shopping page. |
| 3.5 | Dec 1997 | Updated a few links. Renamed the file for the Music Info/Resources page. |
| 3.4 | Nov 1997 | Finished the [former] Software and Multimedia page pages, and started on the Macintosh page. |
| 3.3 | Oct 1997 | Started working on the [former] Software and Multimedia page pages. |
| 3.2 | Sep 1997 | Updated and added some links. |
| 3.1 | Jul 1997 | Thanks to free web pages from GeoCities, you can now acess these pages via the Internet. |
| 3.0 | Apr 1997 | Moved the development of these pages from work to our Macintosh at home. Renamed all files to end in ".html", not ".htm". Therefore, these new pages are no longer compatible with the old DOS filename format ("8.3"). These filenames are compatible with MacOS (of course!), UNIX, and Win95. |
| 2.5 | Mar 1997 | Added a page for theatres and plays. |
| 2.4 | Jan 1997 | Revised the music pages, and significantly expanded the on-line shopping page. |
| 2.3 | Jul 1996 | First Release of these Web Pages to the public. |
| 2.2 | Jun 1996 | Started work on the graphical homepage. |
| 2.1 | Jun 1996 | Incorporated forms into the Search Engines page. |
| 2.0 | May 1996 | Copied pages from K's college account to J's work. Reorganized into Yahoo-like structure (including tables). |
| 1.1 | Jun 1995 | Transferred Web Pages from the J's work to K's college account. |
| 1.0 | Jan 1995 | Converted custom menus under Mosaic to HTML files. |
Our homepage is set up with three general categories:
Those categories are broken down into generic sections, each with a specific page:
Musicians,
TV,
Movies,
Search Engines,
Reference Pages, etc.
Under many pages (Musicians, for instance), you will find bulleted lists (Tori Amos, Laurie Anderson, etc.). Most of these items are links to the appropriate pages at Yahoo. If there are dashed items under a bullet-heading, then these are specific pages on the Web that we have found and that we like.
In general, the Yahoo pages contain a cornucopia of links, so that's where we start!
Oh - anytime you see a link in italics, that denotes a "local" link to one of our own pages.
